Promotional Coffee Mugs

Promotional Coffee Mugs

Promotional coffee mugs are a good way to raise awareness of your business and to build solid, long-lasting customer loyalty. It seems every business these days has promotional items to give out, and any business who has not begun that practice would do well to jump on the bandwagon. It is hard enough to get first time customers with the economy in the shape it is in today, and it can be twice as hard to keep those customers loyal.

Everyone likes free stuff. That's how it goes, right? And customers like to return to businesses where they know their patronage is appreciated. While promotional coffee mugs are not exactly elaborate gifts, they are at least a token of appreciation towards repeat and loyal customers. Coffee mugs are useful for any household, so giving out coffee mugs will be something used at least once and looked at several times. This can subconsciously drive a customer back to a business time and time again, or at least have them think about them and spread awareness via word of mouth.

There are companies that can produce a few dozen or a few hundred of business mugs, which are most often adorned with the company name and logo (if they have a logo). They are most often just the standard ceramic coffee cups that can be bought at any retail outlet, but any company who wants to take it a little further may get their name and logo on travel mugs. Travel mugs are used more often than traditional coffee cups, especially by people on the go. A business can order half and half in both types to give customers a choice between whichever they will like the most (and hence use more often).

Promotional magnets or stickers are cheaper to have made, but they are not as catching to the eye or as function as promotional coffee mugs. The standard American household drinks at least one coffee per day, and every day that could be a chance to bring in a little more company or brand awareness. Giving two per customer can go even further than that, especially if they give one of the mugs to a friend or coworker.

Keeping business in today's tough economic climate is about giving incentives to the consumer to return to your store and frugal business decisions. Finding a happy medium between those two can go a long way, and it is much cheaper than big or medium-sized advertising campaigns. Promotional coffee mugs might not seem like the best promotional investment at first, but putting the company name directly into the house of the consumer and letting them know that their business is appreciated will have them coming back again and again.
